WOBURN, Mass.—A new silicone ink is available from Boston Industrial Solutions Inc. that offers color availability in marking health care and tech industry devices.
Calling it a "game-changer" and a "significant breakthrough," Boston Industrial said its high-purity Natron SE-F product is the first silicone ink to achieve Class VI medical certification for safety assurance.
The ink can be used in stamping, screen printing and spray coating on medical devices, opto-electronics and advanced electronic devices, according to Boston Industrial.
The material boasts high opacity and non-volatile content and is intended to offer brighter and more creative markings for its end-use industries.
More than 20 colors are available and can be mixed to produce other shades.
Based just outside of Boston, the firm also works in printing inks, equipment and robotic engineering.
